Hello, we are Joke and René, proud owners of a short hairy tricolour Border collie bitch called Donja. She was born on the second Christmas day 2003, a real Christmas doggy. We will herd sheep with this beautiful girl. We have been two times at the sheep, when she was seven months old, and Donja finds it glorious. The second time she has tried to herding a herd of seventy sheep and it went very good, only the boss still must learn a lot. Now I'm in training with her.

Before Donja, we have had a male Border collie for 11 years, called Bordey, only this dog had no interest in sheep, but went crazy playing with his tennisball. He found it wonderfull to carry out tasks, such as to fetch the newspaper, or throwing a piece of paper in the dustbin, also paper or empty plastic bottles, which lie on the street. He also likes to bring the mail to the mailbox or carry a shopping bag. Unfortunately we had to put him to sleep on the 5th of December 2003, because of a tumour in his head. We still miss him very much, but Donja gives us consolation.
